About the Program
What Is GreenCare for Troops?
GreenCare for Troops is a nationwide program run by Project EverGreen that connects volunteer lawn care companies with military families who need help maintaining their yards. When a service member is deployed, injured, or recently returned home, keeping up with the lawn is often the last thing on the family's mind.
That's where we come in. All Brothers Lawn Squad volunteers to mow, trim, and maintain lawns for enrolled families at no cost — because it's a small thing we can do for the people who sacrifice so much for all of us.
What's Included
Services We Provide at No Cost
Enrolled families receive regular lawn maintenance throughout the growing season, completely free of charge.
Weekly Mowing
Regular mowing on a consistent schedule so the lawn stays neat and healthy without the family having to think about it.
Trimming & Edging
String trimming around fences, beds, and structures, plus clean edging along driveways and walkways for a finished look.
Seasonal Cleanup
Spring and fall cleanup services including leaf removal, bed clearing, and preparing the lawn for the next season.
Who Qualifies
Families We Serve
The GreenCare for Troops program is available to families of service members who are currently deployed, recently returned from deployment, or recovering from service-related injuries. Eligibility is determined through Project EverGreen's enrollment process.

How to Nominate a Family
Know a military family in east-central Indiana that could use a hand with their lawn? Here's how to get them signed up.
Visit Project EverGreen
Head to projectevergreen.org and navigate to the GreenCare for Troops page. You can register a family directly through their online form.
Submit the Registration
Fill out the family's information, including their address and the service member's status. Project EverGreen reviews all submissions and matches families with local volunteers.
We Take It From There
Once a family in our area is enrolled, we're notified and begin service. We show up regularly throughout the season — the family doesn't need to do a thing.
You can also contact us directly if you know a family that might qualify. We'll help walk them through the process.
Why We Do It
It's the Least We Can Do
We're a family business, and we understand what it means when someone in the family is far from home. Military families carry a weight that most of us never have to think about. Mowing a lawn might seem like a small thing, but for a spouse managing a household alone while their partner is overseas, it's one less thing to worry about.
