Your lawn needs an adequate amount of water to maintain its full, healthy green state. However, too much water—especially due to excessive rains or flooding—can cause damage to your lawn. According to experts, “Too much water interferes with healthy grass growth and makes the lawn susceptible to pests and diseases.” Additionally, when water flows from other sources, you never know what type of chemicals or other sediment is carried with it and deposited on your grass.
